Running her eyes over the man she snorted at his comment on his own agility. “I would say so. Your agility is somewhat… less than the circus requires if your running was any indication. That was a very poor showing. No singing talent though, that is too bad. I like singing and your being a bard would have been nice. We could have passed the time with merry song and dance but it seems as if that idea is now lost to the Fade.” Sighing she leaned back, peering at him with one eye. Catching sight of his glare she grinned, chuckling softly when his eye started to twitch in annoyance.
Smirking at the rock above her she jerked forward when he announced he was a Templar. One eyebrow raised she tilted her head down to look at him. He didn’t seem particularly Templar-esque but it wasn’t like Seda knew many of them personally, or any of them for that matter. Self-consciously moving her hair to cover her ears she leaned forward and looked him in the eye. “So I wasn’t that far off… what with the skirts you lot wear. Don’t those constrict you in battle and why would you be sharing yourself with anyone, male or female?” Frowning she eyed him from head to toe, she had thought Templars were not supposed to… share themselves with anyone.
Biting her lip she threw another glare in Aurin’s direction “I am perfectly warm and I am not ‘pissed’ at you. I doubt anything you could do would be able to keep me warm anyways… if I was cold.” Resisting the urge to stick out her tongue she crossed her arms and glanced away.
Ignoring her own shivering she pushed herself away from the wall and climbed to her feet. Shaking the kinks out of her legs she aimlessly paced deciding to answer his earlier questions to pass the time. “As I already said I have no idea what is in the package and frankly I don’t want to know. So far it has been more trouble than this job is worth but I wasn’t paid to ask questions merely deliver it to a certain location.” Clasping her hands behind her back she spun about and started walking in the other direction. “Some jobs tell you more this one didn’t. You get some like that. I was just looking for a job headed in my direction, didn’t care about much else involved.”
Bringing a hand up to fling a stray lock of hair from her face she halted her pacing to stare at him. He was still shivering and it seemed worse than before. Huffing she whipped her head away and resumed moving, anything to fight back the tremors racing through her body. Clenching her fists she tried to hide the signs of how affected she was by the cold. Keep moving, keep talking and just keep your mind focused on something.
“I am a mercenary though. I appreciate that you can tell I am not some common bandit. Oh the horror to be thought of as one of those plebeians.” Waving an arm dramatically she spun around and raised her other hand to her chest. Placing one hand on her hip she looked down at him. “Is it really that strange though not to know what this is? You’re a Templar; you follow your Commander’s orders don’t you? You don’t…” Catching sight of the shivers wracking his body she sighed and stalked forward, placing her back against the wall next to him.
Slumping down to the ground she sat next to him. Crossing her legs she sat with her arms crossed, petulant frown plastered on her face. “This is only so you don’t freeze to death. Don’t get any ideas.” Pointedly not looking at him she observed their surroundings again. Twiddling her thumbs she peered over at him and quickly glanced away before glancing over again. Slowly turning to face him she nudged him with her knee. “Hey how much do you think they would have sold me for?”
