Aurin didn’t even see the look on his tormentors face. He simply put his head down and started off, as fast from the other as his small feet could take him. The sudden grip on his arm however brought him up short. He nearly lost his grip on the bouquet of flowers that he held as he spun back around towards the other boy.
For a moment he just stared at him. He knew he was lying, he knew it. That warning little voice in his mind told him to get away. He paused though before slowly quashing that voice. He would be nice, Alderic and Beth were both nice. Beth was a girl though, and Alderic had his duties. He was lonely, as always.
“…its…its alright,” He finally replies with a slight smile of reassurance. “Just. I don’t like to talk about it.”
