The newcomer was swift, and if Thren wasn't so cautious, he'd have been amused. He raised an eyebrow as the stranger twirled the chair over and casually plopped against the back of it. He was brazen, and moved silently. Thren knew little of Rivain, and was unsure if this was simply how it's citizens were.
He'd spent only the last few hours amongst the drunks, and doubted they were the best representatives for the Rivaini. Viara's smile was persuasive, that much he knew, but he also recognized that it wasn't as bright as it should have been. Every gesture screamed 'Captain-mode' down to her rigid wrist.
The girls returned to their card game, and while he more than trusted Viara to handle her own affairs, Thren wasn't about pretense. Vi would know that he was listening just as carefully as Sev, or Re. He watched the stranger openly, but sat back against his chair, aware of his height, lest he seem intimidating.
