“I did,” Aurin confirmed. He stayed still enough as she wrapped the bandages about him, moving to test just how the bindings were. They seemed good enough for the moment, and left him with a bit of freedom of movement. “Well you’ve already told me I’m a strange man. It would only make sence that I’d laugh at strange things don’t you think?”, his quick reply was followed by a slash of a grin that revealed white teeth in the fire-lit darkness. “You have no idea how priceless that was. It started me laughing all over again.”
She didn’t need to admit it, at least not in words. He knew she liked it. He knew she enjoyed that night, just from her reactions then, and the look in her eyes now.
“So Vixen…now what?”, he finally asked of the redhead after a long moment of watching her.
