For a woman who made her reputation by taking things that belonged to other people - riches, information, and very rarely lives - to have something so freely given, by a complete stranger no less, was quite a shock to her system. She didn't hesitate to loop the thong over her head, though, fox-and-wolf coming to rest half-wedged in the fabled valley, lifting her dripping hair to further convince it to settle. "Met, or known? I've met many. Known, only one - and that one is a very strange one indeed."
Her face was smiling, but her blue-green eyes were difficult to judge in the firelit as she retook her measure of this man, so odd, jaded and innocent in the same breath.
