“I’ve gone a week more than a week without bathing before. Can’t say I like it at all…of course I didn’t like that whole situation so the need of a bath was the least of my troubles.”, his reply is still tight with the sensation of a dagger in his back. He acted like the little baby now, when he knew he wasn’t going to die from all of this. “Yes well, now you’ve shown this one to a wolf. Might have been a mistake you know.” His hand slipped into a pouch then as he obvious searched for something. Slowly the hand was removed from the pouch with something held in his hand.
“You just want to see me out of uniform again,” Aurin accused as he suppressed a hiss of pain. He smiled though as he glanced back over his shoulder. “Fine though, give me a hand with the buckles. I think you know your way around this kind of armor don’t you?”, his voice holding that same mirth that it usually did, audible though the pain.
His loyalties didn’t seem to be the kind to suddenly switch. He sat and bled quietly on the cot. One large hand was extended towards her, palm up. His fingers withdrew from the item that they concealed in his palm slowly. One fingered moved at a time until they revealed something glimmering in the palm of his hand.
Her button.
“You traded this for everything I had on me. I’m still not sure who got the better deal,” he drawled out slowly before he chuckled as he began to pull off his breastplate. Now that his present was delivered, well part of his present at least. “No they didn’t seem very bright, just very quick with a dagger. As for being ordered around…well part of the fun of getting orders is not listening to them.”
