The fingers at his neck brought Con's eyes closed, and his head rolled to the side for just a second. The Captain had found a way to make him content. Then he brought his head up again to look at her when she brought up the previous Blight. His eyes opened, but he lowered his gaze.
"Which is why I'm guessing it probably isn't one. Just the gossips hearing about a few darkspawn raids and assuming that it's the end of the world. Still, darkspawn die just as easily as most men do." Conlan spoke of killing darkspawn in a tone that suggested he'd had experience with such things.
"Darkspawn running about, maybe a sellsword like me could make a decent profit." He looked back at Vi with smile. 'And look at that, it's even a morally upstanding job."
