Sighing she frowned and nodded at Master Quintus’s suggestion. It was getting late and she should get back to the camp before anyone worried or got angry. Jumping off the log she dusted herself off. As she was patting down her legs she realized what else Master Quintus had said.
“Really! You would tell me a story. Oh I love stories. Papa wouldn’t mind at all you know.” Leaning in she whispered, “Papa loves them too. Don’t tell anyone though cause he has got a… a repertoire to keep. Okay Master Quintus?”
Practically bubbling with excitement she turned and skipped down the path. Realizing she had left Master Quintus behind she turned around. Running back to him she grasped one of his hands in both of hers and gave a gentle tug, jumping in anticipation.
“Master Quintus, Master Quintus hurry! If we get back soon Mother will have some food ready and waiting. She’ll share with you so don’t worry. You get to eat with me and Papa tonight.”
With a wide smile she leaned all her weight back and struggled to pull him off the log.
"Come on, come on don't be afraid. They’ll love you, they are really friendly."
