Perhaps this human was just friendly. His smile seemed genuine enough, and even though he seemed to stumble over multiple conversational threads, he had an engaging, educated sounding voice.
However, he talked a lot.
If she hadn't been previously associated with Cormac, who was rather stoic, and Imenry who seemed to follow suit in his company, Falina would have thought that all humans were all like this.
She tuned him out after a bit, assuming he was speaking more to Cormac.
The Mabari at his side whimpered, and was looking at her expectantly, perhaps even pleadingly. "Your dog is smart right?" She asked the human, eyes never leaving the hulking canine.
Falina stuck out her hand, like Cormac had shown her. Apparently to show the animal that she had no weapons, or something. "Please don't knock me over."
She dropped her hand after a moment and glanced over at the human when the dog didn't come to her side. "You haven't met a dwarf before? My name's Falina... I guess I'll be your first."
"Denerim? Is that where the surface keeps their dwarves?" Maybe it was close to Redcliffe.
She glanced quickly at Cormac. "I am warm, I just- Shartan ran off, and then you followed. It's just my experience when big things run away, the small things should too."
