He knew of a warm bed and a warm body that would be perfectly willing to share said bed with the swordswoman. It would take hours to warm up, but it would be hours quite well spent.
“Well usually the whole ‘run straight into the fray’ style of doing things usually ends up with me catching a fireball with my breastplate. Its not the most pleasant of experiences I can assure you of that kind of thing. I prefer to have my opponents lying facedown in the dust when the battle-sounds quiet down instead of me.” He paused for a moment however as he raised one gauntleted hand to rub thoughtfully at his chin. “However I like that idea…Terric? What about you? Mind being the distraction for this little rumble?”
“I don’t like it,” Terric rumbled from where he stood with his arms crossed over his chest. He glowered on the farmhouse before taking a heavy step forwards. “But since we don’t have any other ideas besides going to knock…I’ll stampede the pack horses. That will get their attention.” He began to move then, his heavy footfalls causing him to sink into the muck on the side of the hill. This did not seem to slow the armored figure as he directed his path towards the pack mules.
Aurin however glanced towards the woman at his side. A slow grin come to his face as he noticed the look in her eyes. “Oh that sounds perfectly good to me. I’ll take the wizard, and you watch my back from his little friends.”, he paused for a moment as one hand raised to touch the hilt of his sword.
“Forwards then,” he called as he started forwards as well, one hand reached up to throw the cloak over one shoulder to free up his movement for the battle ahead. His own steps take him through the rain and towards the house itself. “I like your plans Imenry. Right to the point. This shouldn’t be easy…but it should be at the very least entertaining shouldn’t it?” His own eyes starting to show the same look as hers.
