She made the slogging journey, wishing for sturdier boots now and again. But the worn, well-loved leathers on her feet were one of the few things she'd taken with her since she'd left home. And in either case, she just didn't posses huge manly feet to crash through the mud and puddles carelessly. That was probably a good thing. The water trailed rivulets over her skin and down her face, and she knew it would take hours in a warm bed to chase the chill from her bones. But that did have it's certain appeals, she thought, her gaze sliding to the man at her side.
Terric made sure to keep his distance and whenever she even glanced in his direction his jaw was set and his eyes hard. She shook her head and wondered how someone could go through life being so disapproving. But then again, that probably was just the sort suited for Chantry life.
After a time their pace began to slow as the hazy outline of a building rose in the distance. She shifted her glance back to Aurin as he spoke and raised a brow, considering.
"Tactics? Really? You aren't the 'run straight into the fray' type? Well let's see... Your friend there looks like a nice shiney target. Perhaps he can lure out some of the henchmen and then you and I can go after your wizard and whoever he keeps closest to him. Those are sure to be the most challenging foes."
She smiled, and the thrill of a fight was in her eyes. That was what drew her. She closed one hand over the handle of her claymore and cocked her head, waiting for his agreement.
"Once inside you can go after the wizard and leave the others to me, as I have no defense against magic. Does that sound good?"
Depending on how many of the bandits came after Terric, this could be bad for him, but he was well armored and she figured he could pray to his god for help if he got in too much trouble. Not that she thought it would do him much good.
