He would have loved that comment, and likely would have enjoyed the banter that went along with it should she express it at some later date. Aurin didn’t shoot this second glass either, instead he sipped on the whiskey with a thoughtful mien. One hand tapped easily on his glass as he watched the warrior-women with a curve of a slight smile that came to his face.
“Oh I was looking, I try not to be /too/ obvious about it.”, the warrior replied with a flash of a grin towards her. “Kroth is good at passing information though. Always a reliable source, and reliable sources are few and far between at times.” His words were quite true in this case.
“Imenry,” he turned the word over in his mouth for a moment as he swirled the drink around in his glass as he looked over the rim towards the woman. “Well…just a little bit of a hunting trip.”, Aurin began slowly. “I’m thinking I might need a good sword to come along with me and a friend of mine on this trip. Since we happen to be hunting a rouge wizard and his merry band. One never can have too many friends on a hunting trip like this. The pay would be…negotiable, but good. So I think I’d been looking for a warr---”
He would have continued, however his explanation was rudely intruded by a loud voice…from the group of four wild revelers in the corner. One of the group stood unsteadily there with a large mug of ale in one hand.
“Then why don’t you get yerself a /real/ warrior for your little hunt rather than /woman/!” The man declared with a snort of laughter.
Aurin paused as he looked towards the interloper as one eyebrow quirked up in question. “…so Imenry. Do you want to deal with the pup? Or shall we just ignore him?”
