Nibbling at her lower lip, deep in thought, Jill glanced up at Lillie high atop the red horse. The Warden's company had been very kind to her, accepting her into their group, asking very few questions. Lillie had been the best, making Jill feel like a person, someone who did deserve to have friends and not someone who just got them killed. At Lillie's words, Jill smiled slightly at her. "I'm glad I didn't die too," she said, it was after all very easy to agree with, when the sun was shining and there was the fresh scent of forest in her lungs. "I don't know if I'm glad to be different though, but it's just something I can't change. The other messengers never cared, they just cared that I could out-ride them but not out-drink them..." A slight grin and a faint sparkle entered her eyes momentarily, before disappearing. "Why is different so frightening, Lillie? Why are people scared of so stupid things?!"
At first, there was no answer from Jill, her eyes shining and far away. How glorious to be able to turn into any animal of one's choosing, never having to spend a moment on two legs if he didn't want to. It was not a far reach from that thought, to what shapes she herself would prefer if she was a mage shape shifter, and minutes went by without her realising that she had not yet answered. "Oh, sorry. Um...I would love to meet him, it sounds so...wonderful! But talking to animals is just training, you know, their language takes time to learn, just like any other." Glancing in silent love at Salma, Jill stuffed her hands into her pockets and kept walking, oblivious to anything strange in her last comment.
