"It sounds nice, to have a grandfather like that." Lillie wondered if maybe her father's family had been kind like that, if she might one day know what kind of man he was. Maybe she was better off not knowing though. She pushed those thoughts aside.
Lillie blushed and shook her head. "No. I don't want a prince." There was only one man she'd ever wanted. She didn't know if she'd even get to see him again, if she should try and move on. Perhaps he had. But it was impossible to let go of the hope. "Thank you though. I suppose if I wasn't pleasing enough to look at I would not have fared so well in my profession. But I don't think anyone would want a whore as a princess." She laughed softly.
Lillie could not help but grin at Jill's blush as she turned red everywhere. It would have been impossible to miss. She wondered about this man that had come to her mind, especially since he'd not come up in their previous discussions. "Is he a friend then?" Sometimes when looked at in another light, friends could become more. That was something she'd read about and heard stories of before. It sounded terribly romantic. It seemed to Lillie that this was rare though, because often if there had been an attraction it would have been since the start, at least she would think so. "What is his name? Tell me about him."
