Jill smiled as Lillie expressed her admiration of her grandfather. It made her happy to hear, because she herself did consider him one of the best men she had ever met, and it was always nice to have such an opinion endorsed by other people. "He was. He taught me many things about life. Well, I didn't think of them as lessons at the time, but when I grew up I realised that many things he had told me when I was little was quite useful in my dealings with people and life."
"Do you want to find a prince too?" she asked, cocking her head thoughtfully. She hadn't forgotten about what Lillie had told her, but Lillie had seemed sure that she would never reunite with her lover in Denerim. "You're at least pretty and graceful enough to be a real princess."
"No!" Jill said, protesting immediately and spontaneously. The blush that started on her neck and swiftly travelled up her cheeks, was impossible to hide though. She hadn't meant to say anything, and certainly not describe someone - especially not the someone that had appeared before her inner eye. She had never thought about any man as a potential mate, and it confused her that the werewolf Garrett was the one who had starred in her little fantasy. It was not long since she had the realisation that she even did want to find someone and have children and a family. That this vague hope for the future suddenly held a man she had known only months, was very confusing. "Well, um," she amended, trusting Lillie enough to try and explain matters a little. "I didn't think there was, but when you asked me and I started speaking, someone just popped into my head. I had never thought about him like that before...ehm...I haven't thought about anyone in that way actually." Biting and lip and frowning, Jill stared down at her hands, hardly feeling Lillies hug.
