"There you go!" Jill cheered, smiling over her shoulder, not able to see Lillie, but happy that she was such a good student. "Are you sitting all right?" Salma sidestepped a little nervously and Jill leaned down and patted her neck soothingly, "There now girl, you like Lillie don't you? No trouble having her up there too." She wasn't used to sharing the space atop of Salma, but it was a nice change having someone to talk to while atop the large horse. Salma settled down, her body less tense even though she was still a little on edge. It was harder to feel her properly when they were riding together like this, but Jill knew the horse trusted her judgement.
Unable to shift her weight very much, she used her heels to nudge Salma into a slow walk. She would greatly have preferred to just storm away, but she figured it was nicer to let Lillie get used to things at first.
Holding the reins lightly in her hands she angled her face a little to the side, so Lillie would still be able to hear her. "How does it feel?" she asked, hoping that the other woman was enjoying herself.
