Lillie's voice called Jill from her little fantasy, looking up and her eyes focusing again. "Oh, um...because everyone else is?" she answered honestly, not really thinking about it. "I would rather ride, but then...um..." Glancing around her, she leaned closer to Lillie, telling her the exact nature of the truth. "I'm just trying to fit in and appear like everyone else. Ever since you saved me and everything...I thought that if I walked it would make me seem more like part of the group?" Making a face, she couldn't but help but hear how it sounded. But she did want to fit in, that was only the truth. Glancing anxiously at Lillie again, and then around her, Jill frowned. "Do you think it's working?"
She wasn't quite sure and maybe the others didn't feel as she did, that the spectacular nature of her joining the group made her too...too noticeable. But either way, riding among them on top of Salma would definitely make her too noticeable.
