That sure was fast. Johann smiled warmly at the dwarven girl, both amused and grateful for her apparent sincerity as she offered aid so quickly. If a Warden was going to take up her cause just like that, there was no way Johann would start by looking that gift-horse in the mouth. "Let's get on up there then," she confirmed eagerly, waving a hand up at the castle looming over the water. "Scrape up a few people to listen and I'll tell you everything I know about what's going on up in the hills right now. My people need swordarms, I bet yours need info, we can make this deal profitable for everybody."
She hopped down the last step from the boardwalk and stepped forward, but stopped as Signy got a curious look on her face and hazarded a question. Johann didn't miss a beat, laughing and planting a friendly hand on Signy's shoulder to guide the girl along toward the hill as she replied.
"You haven't been up top long, have you honey! A hornet's a bug, yea big." She held up a calloused hand and indicated the larger segment of her thumb. "They bite with the front end, sting with the arse end, and they can fly. A group of 'em will build a hive around a queen and try to sting everything in sight if they think they're threatened. Basically, they're mean little shits."
