In an attempt to fight the rising panic (it was so subtle at first, but at this point in her life she knew the signs well), Arya took a quick sip of the tea, letting it settle in her mouth for a moment before swallowing. The first person she'd spoken to was Shianni Tabris, and the elder woman had had the sad task of informing Arya of what had transpired after her disappearance.
The young woman who'd walked into the alienage with the hopes of discovering a long lost family stepped out of the Tabris home with her mouth set in a hard line, nearly unbelieving. She'd spent the next few days thinking to leave immediately, but Arya had been unable to leave her birthplace without looking around it one last time. Perhaps, in a way, saying a final good bye.
"Yes, Shianni told me. I spoke with her when I first arrived." She kept one hand near the cup, the other resting in her lap. Focusing on the conversation helped. "Aside from myself, my brother Terin is the only other one still alive. But he left years ago. You don't...happen to know anything about where he might have gone? If he said anything, or left anything behind?"
