She doesn't miss him checking her for signs. But nothing felt any different. The tense bit of worry that he'd think she was insane melts off. It more becomes surprise, that he'd want children with her. She wasn't sure she'd ever want children, but now faced with the clear and present possibility, Cora's not opposed.
Then Cora snaps back to what he's saying. "I don't think there's any way you wouldn't want to be out on a ship for a week here or there, even if you retire. And besides, I'm good at this." She motions to the bar, toward the ceiling. "I can take this show on the road."
She pauses again. "You do know this means you'd be stuck with me."
