Sebastian would like to say that he remembered that he had company coming today, and that he'd had made sure that the house was perfection for his cousin to arrive, but that would have been a bald faced lie and he tried to at least remain truthful despite being a bit absentminded.
Well correction, he wasn't exactly absentminded, but instead wholly focused on a new crate that sat in the middle of his parlor filled with whatever strange items and books his parents had managed to rob from whatever poor natives that they were dealing with this month. Seemed to be a part of Asia, maybe Japan by the look of the black and blue haori that he just pulled out.
Sebastian was carefully sliding it on over his plain button shirt, seeing if it would fit when he heard the knock. Glancing around, he looked for the older woman who worked as both nanny and surrogate mother, but she must have been in the kitchen, helping the cook make whatever green mess that they had decided on for the night.
"I'm coming!" he called out, not caring that the person on the other side would not be able to hear him. Finally, he opened it up and looked at his elder cousin. It had been a few years since he'd last seen William, and Sebastian was fairly sure he had that same color to his cheeks when he left too.
"Oh! Right. Dinner. Come in." he motioned William in quickly before shutting the door. The house itself was large, but seemed set up to look more like a museum than any sort of living space for a single young gentleman who should be out and about in hopes of finding a proper wife.
"Sorry, I got distracted. It's family though and I highly doubt you care that I'm not wearing a proper dinner jacket since you already look as if you've skipped to the after meal drinks already. How have you been?" He glanced over to his cousin, offering a charming smile to ease the bite of his words.
