Interesting. Vivid, and filled with imagery from Miss Owen's - Sadie's, the name was present on Dantalion's tongue as he tasted the dream, defined by the dreamer - waking mind. The fog he disliked, uneasy as nothing on this earth should make him besides the angels (when they chose to descend; Haiaiel was an infrequent and unwanted visitor), but Sadie shut the door on it, and Dantalion lingered a moment, seeing whether the fog curled under the door and around the frame once she had turned away from it.
Then he turned with her, to see what new image she had conjured. A bath. How droll. Dantalion made a note to bring one of these into Henry's next pleasant dream. Having Merritt unclothed was a step he had largely avoided taking thus far, preferring to tease with the flash of a wrist or throat - more tantalizing, and just as forbidden - but a bath had possibilities. He decided he would like to see what Henry would do, once presented with the situation. Perhaps a hand rising from the water, trailing droplets; a startled, almost shy, "Oh, hello."
Yes, that would do nicely.
But now to the dream at hand; Dantalion had given Henry a reprieve this evening, in favor of learning more about this Sadie.
Vampires were not the only creatures who requested permission to enter a house; some demons followed the rule as well, or at least gave it a nod. The most notable of these were incubus and succubus, which Dantalion had suspected from Sadie's coquettish distraction in Merritt's presence. A succubus, then? Or would Sadie have been tempted by different fruit?
He decided to choose the more popular path, and with a thought he had given the dream-room a window, glass frosted from the steam of the bath (not the fog; he did not wish to encourage more of that to enter here). On the pane of glass came a light, inquisitive tapping. Not the heart-stopping sound of a nightmare, precisely; more of a request. The sound of interest piqued, and dangerous, wayward curiosity. He gave Sadie the impression of a face at the window, and waited to see how she would fill in the details.
And, of course, whether she would let a demon in to seduce her. Whether, in fact, she already had.
