A place for my BioWare muses? Color me in.
Hello, everyone. I'm Toni, aka Dark Unicorn cause... INTJ female. Seriously, it's a thing, look it up.

Anyways, I'm probably the oldest here, like RPing more than everyone else has been alive. Well, maybe not that long, but paper and pencil, and graphics were as good as you painted the miniatures.

That said, I know some of you, might know others, and look forward to meeting the rest. (The ones I know got me wanting to bring in Shepard, cause... 'nuff said.)

Anyways, this is Elissa Cousland, the Warden from Dragon Age: Origins. She's a noble by birth, gave that up to join the Wardens, ended the Blight, and wound up married to the king anyways. She's generally diplomatic but not afraid to get in the thick of things when they get ugly. Up for all the plots. Seriously, I'm a comment whore and tag a lot.

Hey, I'm still painting miniatures!

I'm Cogs, this is Gilmore. He's a gregarious sorcerer whose love for magic is only matched by his love for money.

Your Warden sounds like she's right out of my playthru!

Oh, lovely.

And pleasure to meet you again Cogs. I've interacted with him before, albeit in another game with a different character, and though still canon-blind he's an absolute delight. Elissa will be curious about his magic, having saved the tower at Lake Calenhad.

(And at last count, had like 250 DAI playthroughs)

Hey Toni! You're definitely rustling up the urge for Bioware Muses around here and now I wanna go back and play all the DA games though trying to get through Origins again is like PULLING TEETH sometimes but ugh the characters.

I'm Kiki, and as of now I have Peter Quill from MCU, and Jefferson from Once Upon a Time. Peter is missing the rest of the Guardians, his ship, space, but not at all complaining about the video game environment while Jefferson just really wants to get the hell out of here. He'll be happy to see another diplomat around here.

Dooooo eeeeeet. Also apping Shepard if in the mood for more BoiWare muses. But yes, Origins was the last great game BioWare made. DA2 and ME3 were alright, at least until the last 20 minutes of 3. DAI seemed to be a return to fo, though still lacking the oomph of Origins. And then the game we do not mention, Mass Effect Andromeda. And no one really wants another Destiny clone with a 10 year plan, cause that worked out so well for Bungie. BioWare would be so much better if it weren't for EA.

Anywho's, Elissa will likely see Peter as another Alistair, which could be both good and bad. So much potential that is not fully utilized. Bit canon-blind on OUTA, but could be interesting.

I have actually never played Mass Effect but I've always wanted to. Maybe I'll start!!

lol I actually really can't stand Origins at all and the only thing I like is the characters. I'm that chick that loves the stuff everyone hates and really enjoyed 2. I love Inquisition though the quests and leveling system is really fucking annoying. But at least it handles better than the first two. Yeah. EA is the devil. I was going to apply to be a concept artist there before my friend reminded me the position is open for a reason xD

Peter is very close to Alistair. Space Alistair. From the 80s, with 70's origins. OUTA was good for the first two seasons and had this really cool idea to bring the fairytale characters to the real world / do their own take on their stories.

Can absolutely recommend Mass Effect. Have streamed it several times on Twitch. One of my favorite games, along with Minecraft despite its pixilated graphics.

Hi Toni! I'm Erin, and am, as always, late to the party.

I have my two, Natasha Romanoff (MCU Edition!), who is post Civil War and super chill about all of this, considering what she left back home. She'd be a good ally, for sure, and that's really more her style these days.

I also have Regina Mills ([info]madamemayor) who is sort of in a grey area in the moment, and sort of in a bad mood. She's not really up for meet and greets at the moment, so she's super hating being forced into them.

I would love to plot! I've never played Dragon Age, but I'm all for learning new things/people.

Welcome!

Hi, Erin, and welcome to the party. Fashionably late, I hope.

I absolutely love Nat. Especially against Wade, cause... Things. Belive Melissa and Shepard will get along with her.

Bit canon-blind on OUAT, but random interaction could be interesting.

And absolutely recommend both Dragon Age and Mass Effect. The trilogy, not Andromeda.

Oh, no. I'm never fashionable.

Me too. She's a blast to play. And I am super stoked for her to meet them.

The plot of that show was so wacky and varied, I honestly think you'll understand the characters better having never seen it. We should def give it a go.

Play more video games, but not terrible ones. Noted.

Yeah, I've always enjoyed playing against her.

Ah, so didn't miss much then. Will hold off putting it on my Netflix queue then. So far behind on shows its not even funny.

Awesome! If this game is the exception, don't tell me. My heart can't take it.

Yeah. It started out great, and the characters are very well done, but around season 4 it starts to go off the rails. Very much a mess.

Same. It just seems like such a big commitment to start a new show. Ugh. Commitment.

Sounds a lot like Mass Effect. First three games were good up until the ending of 3. Then Andromeda, and... so not even the same game. Granted, was supposed to be different, but just lacks the same appeal like they didn't even try.

Yeah, I find that people seem to think that success means that they need to change the formula to extend the cash flow. it rarely works. Greed is bad, kids.

And that is why we are getting Anthem and the 10 year plan, plus lootboxes.

Because that worked out so well for Bungie.

...I'm sure the first part's a video game thing, but it sounds like a free insurance plan, in which case I REALLY need to start playing video games.
