Network Post | Open
Hello, my name is Connor. I'm not formally acquainted with everyone who isn't a natural born resident in this world, but I have been reading and analyzing the data you all have provided here on the network. I hope no one minds.

Because I don't need sleep I've been able to scan and locate a few routes of transportation within these different locations, as that seems to be a problem here. The green pipes for instance, seem to be located in each town or city--I've yet to scout the mountain, I don't think I would last long in the weather, but I have noticed a common anomaly in the pipes that should help:

If you wait a few moments and no giant plant appears from it, the pipe can be used for transport. It should take you to the closest city moving clockwise from your current location. As far as a map, it seems some of you are working on that already. If we compile that information together it could prove useful. Oh. There's also bikes in Cerulean City.

Also--I've been unable to locate a robotics or technological store. Does anyone know if that exists here?

Aye, let's work together on that map. I bet the synergy would be fun with you.

And for technical mumbo jumbo, try the casino city. Robots guard the outskirts.

I'm still working on implementing correct synergy for the right situations. But given my analysis on this network, working together is only beneficial.

Interesting. I didn't think that a casino area would be run by robots. Do you know if they're android or not?

I can help you implement correct synergy. I know all about those benefits.

No bloody clue. Although according to my best mate, gambling there's a bad idea. Oh, and I'm Killian. Most call me Hook.

I see. And is this because you're a good businessman?

Well, as long as they have parts then it's worth taking a look. I thought...gambling was illegal. I guess not here.

Hook? That's a strange name. Do you mind if I ask why?

Good at business and pleasure. I certainly prefer the pleasure, don't you?

Aye. I can go with you if you'd like. And where are you from that gambling's illegal?

What, can't guess? I've got a hook for a hand though, I'll go ahead and spoil it for you.

The pleasure in what? Working with other people? I haven't had a whole lot of positive experience with it, but I am learning and adapting.

Detroit. Gambling is only allowed within designated areas with a permit, like casinos. There are three.

No, actually, I don't think I've ever seen anyone with that choice in prosthetic before. It seems dangerous.

I mainly meant the pleasure in a romp. Are you new at this?

That sounds awful. I hate to even ask what people do for fun around there.

Danger is my middle name, love.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your lexicon. And yes, I am new at this. I was only activated in August of 2028, four months ago.

It's been my understanding that people go to bars and drink, watch sports, listen to music, or partake in the use of illegal drugs. But I know little of cultural recreation outside of my investigations.

That's a very eccentric middle name.

To fuck. Hide the sausage. The horizontal bop. Storm the cotton gin, in some cases. I usually don't discriminate.

Alright, wait. So you're activated and you've never done drugs, took one-eye to the optometrist, or done much cultural recreation at all?

Yes. Yes, it is.

There is a portal on the mountain that will bring you down, once you venture up the path.

That's oddly convenient. You wouldn't happen to know the exact temperature of the mountain top, would you?

[info]swampwitch

Not the exact temperature, no. But it is not as bad as the snowy wastes back in Thedas.

The dragons on the mountain are cordial, if you treat them respectfully.

I'm unfamiliar with Thedas. Would you say a human could survive the weather easily?

I've no current data on dragons. What are those?

Not easily, but they can and do survive. It simply takes preparation. Are you planning to venture up there?

Large reptilian animals, often winged, very powerful. Also often breathes fire. The ones on the mountain converse and seem very intelligent.

I would like to take an analysis of every location so I can collect all possible data. But if the temperature is too cold...it may freeze my biocomponents.

That sounds a bit like mythology. Yet given our current predicament, not at all a possibility that is impossible.

Can you...drink? Things? Just out of curiosity.

Hardly anything is impossible, I find.

I can replenish my therium, which powers my biocomponents by drinking it. Sometimes water may be required if there is overheating or to regulate the therium. My model may taste things to analyze them, but it is not recommended to ingest anything else. Why?

There is always a probably for unlikely events to take place, yes. I've learned that.

According to the network there are giant man eating plants along the beach. According to my personal analysis, the ones in Acorn Plains Way, appear from the pipes.

They are red, large, and wait with open mouths. Some spit fire.

I don't...think it is a dragon flower. But I have never seen a dragon before. I can't say.

If anyone has been eaten, it hasn't been reported.

It is likely magic not of this world. Still, I think I'd like to be the first who calls it a dragon flower. Just to see if it catches on.

So, what does it feel like jumping into a pipe that has no dragon flower in it?

You're the second person to mention magic. I don't know what magic is and I have no data analysis of it. The plant seems biological in origin and produces the fire from within.

As if you're going to keep dropping. But you don't. Instead, you fall....up. Into the aforementioned location. It defies physics.

No magic in your world? Well, how does everything keep from falling apart?

That sounds much more pleasant than a boat. What kinds of lands do you discover? What kind of land do you hail from?

I'm afraid 'everything' is too broad a category for me to answer. But there is no magic. We have problems, but they are very regular. Intense, but regular.

I've yet to visit them all. It seems there are a little more than a handful.

I'm from Detroit. Where are you from?
