Cmdr Jane Shepard ([info]cmdr_shepard) wrote in [info]theconsolelog,
Interesting was putting it mildly. Shepard had been on Earth one moment, surround by the destruction that was the remnants of London making her final charge against Harbinger to reach the Citadel. And then.. she was someplace else. Where she didn't know. The only clue was some mysterious box that she couldn't figure out, though given it appeared to be some sort of technology, she'd plugged it into her omnitool and discovered that she wasn't the only one.

There were others here, all apparently drawn to this place by some still yet as undiscovered means, some junction point between multiverses, or something. Traynor would know and understand it better, and would likely be all sorts of help here. Or not, given that as a standard rule, she had tested her biotics to discover they were at diminished capacity. Either the lack of element zero here, or some other power was effecting her, and it appeared that others were noticing similar effects.

Plugging into some sort of omninet, she'd managed to converse with a few people, finding out that some were of a similar mind in that they needed to explore the area to find all possible threats, as well as organize security to deal with those threats.

And according to one person, this whole place was some sort of old Earth video game. There was no telling what all that entailed, or if the guy was just crazy.

Continuing her investigation of the area, she found herself upon the beach. Altering her course, she followed the shore, winding around until she spotted someone in the distance. Either a native who might have answers, or someone else like her, having found themselves here. Either way, it was someone to converse with besides the countless kids that seemed intent on getting her to joining in their little game of battling each other with weird animals kept in those balls.

"Hello," she called out as she approached, letting him know of her presence before getting to close, given that he seemed pretty focused on his task.
