Ginny accepted the glass with a fond smile and a murmur of thanks. Adrian still had his arm around her, and she seemed in no hurry to leave its protective embrace.
She took a small sip of water and then began. "I think maybe I'd mentioned to both of you about the dream that I'd been having, even before the really bad nightmares started. The one that felt... not quite like a dream.
"This dream had many of the same details. I was in King's cross; I was looking for something; only, instead of running frantically, sure I'd be left behind... this time I found what I was looking for. I found... Harry."
She took another sip of water and closed her eyes; even now, some of the finer detail was slipping away. "Always before, there'd been a voice telling me, not yet. But now... Harry said... it's almost time. And he was just about to tell me what he meant, when... from behind... somebody put a knife to his throat.
