"Go ahead." Marcus motioned with a tilt of his head, "It's the last door on the right."
Once Ginny had closed the door to his bedroom, Marcus placed his teacup on the table and looked back toward Adrian, brow furrowed.
"I don't mean to belabour the point Adrian, but I'm honestly at a loss as to how one goes about apologising for something like that." He looked down into the caramel coloured tea, watching the leaves swirl and settle. "It comes across as though I don't consider you trustworthy," he looked back into his friend's eyes, aware now of the power behind that steady gaze, "but I do."
