Hermione watched Draco's performance with initial horror that dissolved into pure curiosity and interest. She didn't need to count on her fingers or screw up her face to disentangle Draco's multiple negatives, but the fleeting expression on Draco's face brought her abruptly back to earth, telling her she did need to intervene before Ginny and Draco caused more trouble.
"Mr Malfoy," she said, reminding herself to arise gracefully from her chair rather than bounce impertinently upright, "however did you lay hands on those images? Surely they are rare, perhaps unique."
