WHO: Klaus and Wynonna
WHAT: Challenge #2!
WHEN: Tonight~ (just for a few hours)
WHERE: Creepy house
WARNINGS: Major snark I will guess

When Klaus awoke he didn’t expect to find himself in a dusty, obscene place. The room he was in was quite dark except for the light that was shining through the tattered curtains of the windows. Klaus sat up, his weight against his palms that sunk deep into a ratty mattress that sat on the floor. When the hybrid moved to use his speed to stand he realized very quickly that he couldn’t. It was shocking and his face showed it, his fingers coming to his mouth, the pad of his thumb pressing against his canines as he willed them to come out only nothing. He couldn’t transform. Klaus couldn’t do anything but stand there, shivering in the dark.

Without his lightning speed he felt slower. Like a turtle coming out of its shell for the first time. Klaus understood right away that this was a challenge and his was to be human again, suddenly without his gifts and to be trapped in some abandoned housing meant for the homeless. Was this all that was going to be thrown at him? Klaus wanted to curse the angels but instead he left his pretend room, his body stumbling into the hallway as he tried his best to get used to his lack of powers.

“Who is there?” Klaus felt his voice leave him, his tone the usual demanding one until he realized that he was calling out to a possible enemy. The hybrid was without weapons. He did not have the means to defend himself against any sort of attacker that could be well on their way to slaughter him. It didn’t take a genius to discover that without his speed and hybrid fangs it meant that his ability to heal was gone as well. Klaus was literally human in every sense of the word.

Human. Weak.

When Klaus heard the words in his head he heard them in the voice of Mikael. His own wretched father was calling out to his bastard son to the grave, telling him what he didn't need to hear. Klaus sneered at himself, his head shaking as he heard a footstep from behind him. Klaus knew someone was there but he saw nobody.

"Show yourself," Klaus said, his own heartbeat regaining its composure. "I'm in no mood for games. Either you make an appearance or I'll drag you out like the coward you are."
