WHO: Matt and Tyler with Liv and possibly Kai later WHAT: Bro-Time WHEN: Bendy time to sometime this week WHERE: Best LA WARNINGS: Obnoxiousness?
Matt honestly didn't know what the hell was going on. One minute, he was in Mystic Falls, patrolling the streets that were normally quiet at night now and the next, he was waking up in an apartment, being told that angels had taken him for a battle or whatever. It was crazy. But Matt's life was full of crazy. Even after the great hellfire that threatened to take Mystic Falls with it, the town still saw its share of spooks. And people still came from miles around to try and find something in the woods. Matt had more arrests around 1AM than anything else. Teenagers with beer and drugs, waiting for a vampire or a werewolf to show up. That was about the extent of it. Other than that, Mystic Falls was quiet ... sometimes. Let's just say, the amount of supernatural activity had gone down a lot.
Things were different here than they were back home. Here, there was Katherine, Kai, Stefan, Enzo - all of these people who were dead and gone. And Elena and Damon were vampires. Tyler was here too, but he liked that. He missed Tyler. Of course he would never forgive Damon for what he did, but it wasn't like Damon was in his right state of mind. He was being controlled, but Matt wasn't one for excuses. He hated vampires, he hated the supernatural. He wanted a normal life but he knew he couldn't just walk away from this. He couldn't turn his back on his friends. He didn't want to.
Especially not when there was alcohol involved. He and Tyler had gone down to the bar and decided to play a little pool. Shot after shot, beer after beer and Matt was feeling a little woozy, but he was having a good time.
Even when he completely missed the ball and instead hit the side of the table.
"Shit, I think I'm drunk," Matt said with a semi pout as he looked over at Tyler. He couldn't stop himself from laughing though. It felt good. He hadn't done it in forever. Matt knew he took himself seriously sometimes but that was because he had to. He was literally the law in Mystic Falls. He was the one who made sure that people were safe. He was the one who patrolled the area.
Who was patrolling them now?
"I think I need another beer, man," he said and set his stick down and ran a hand over his face. "Are you good or do you want another one?"
