"Thank you very -" Adrian stopped speaking as Sage came right up and swiped his drink. He smiled after her, eyeing the bartender for only a moment. "Someone's in a mood," Adrian couldn't help but say until he went on after her, more so to get his drink that he so desperately needed. His smile grew into a smirk as she took a sip. There was something about her, something different. Something daring. It made him daring. It made him want to do things that he would probably get slapped in the face for, but God, getting slapped by Sage was only half the fun now wasn't it?
"Yes, I suppose she does," he answered, looking toward Jill who was having a lovely time, but his green eyes sent on Sage, still holding his drink, still ... moving him.
He reached for his drink, but it was only a distraction as he leaned in and kissed her. Soft, slow and desperately needful. Somewhere along the way, he let go of the vodka and she must have to because it went crashing to the floor, but his lips were still on hers, still kissing her, still teasing her.
God, this was such a rush and he knew it was wrong. He knew that Sage might not return his advances and he would stop, but he had wanted to kiss her so badly again for such the longest time but ...
He pulled back, licking his own lips, still tasting her in his mouth. He breathed out, his eyes wandering, waiting - wondering what she would say, what she would do.
"Don't push me away," he whispered then. All he wanted was her. It was evident. He knew he was a screw up, he did the wrong thing and rarely got something right. He knew her stance on vampires, on him but he also knew how much she did care, how much she might have thought about it, or rather, thought about them.
