Charlotte had conflicting emotions about everything that had happened when half the population went temporally cray.
As amusing as it was to watch, she was actually kinda pissed that Spencer had slipped so easily into the void and basically became her, torturing her friends the way she had basically made a career out of and even bonding with Alex.
Who cared that Spencer and Alex were actually twins and that all three of them were technically sisters? Alex was hers and hers alone. Spencer had Melissa and all her little friends. There was no reason for her to have Alex too.
The brightside was that Charlotte was sitting on a veritable goldmine of dirt for her next Gossip Girl post. Her masquerade had failed to produce the amount of drama she'd intended but then the angels, bless their souls, they had come through and she was going to expose so many juicy details.
She was still sifting through her footage, trying to decide what she wanted to publish and what would make good blackmail for later when she's decided to take a break and get a drink. Being the real wolf of Wall Street while maintaining a CIA level of electronic surveillance and still trying to have a social life could all take a real toll on a girl's social life.
If only she's known that something that had been set into motion by the shenanigans she was so amused by would shortly be taking changing her whole life forever. She might have stalked less and lived more.
Probably not though.
So there she was, minding her own business and sipping her daiquiri while watching people the way that only someone like Charlotte watched people. But apparently, she wasn't watching closely enough because someone bumped into her, sloshing icy red liquid over the side of her hand. Her first instinct was to be pissed but when she noticed that the apologetic gentleman was incredibly easy on the eyes, Charlotte found herself suddenly in a very forgiving mood.
"Don't worry about it, handsome." She cooed, smiling over at him. "Though, if you really feel bad about it, you could always buy me another one."
