WHO: Bellamy and Octavia
WHAT: Reuniting in this crazy ass world
WHEN: After his arrival, before he meets Clarke
WHERE: O's apartment
WARNINGS: Shouldn't be any

Bellamy looked out the window from the living room. He was still the only one there. Jasper and Murphy hadn't come by. He was looking at the lights, the cars, the life. It was incredible. He knew that this was a place that should be feared. Challenges and missing souls and whatever else that was shitty that could happen here, but ... this was like paradise. Something that they only dreamed of. And his sister was here, his friends ... Raven might have been talking about blowing up the barrier, but now he was wondering if that was such a good idea. They said it was angels that were keeping them here and Bellamy might have made the mistake of telling Murphy that they should probably get back at them and now ... it was like he didn't want to screw this up. Whatever they were going through, they could get through it. They had to. They were stronger than this, than whatever this place could dish out, right?

He just knew that they had been through so much. Through so much harder and trying to let whatever was here break them.

Of course, it was his first night. He didn't know much of anything. He had heard from Murphy and Raven how bad it could get. And he knew that Clarke would elaborate once they met up but first, he needed to see his sister, which was what he planned to do after he showered.

Which led him to Murphy's room. At least he assumed it was Murphy's from what was lying around. He went through Murphy's dresser to grab a fresh pair of clothes so he could wash the last few months off of him in the shower. And it was the best shower he had ever felt in his entire life. He didn't want to leave it. He felt like he was going to feel that way about a lot of things here.

When he got out, he got himself dressed and looked in the mirror. He looked clean, put together. There were circles under his eyes but behind him was a big bed that he was going to get much use of at the end of the night. No, Bellamy didn't want to wake up from this.

His mind drifted though to Echo and Monty and they deserved to be here. They should have been here. Swallowing, he grabbed the black t-shirt and put it on before sitting down on the bed and putting his boots back on. It was only a few minutes later that he found himself in front of Octavia's door and he didn't even hesitate. He knocked and waited, but he didn't even wait that long. O opened the door and Bellamy couldn't help but smile. He closed the distance quickly and wrapped his arms around her.

"I missed you." So much. And he loved her. It was a regret of his that he didn't say it. That she didn't hear it. She deserved that. "I love you," he whispered, barely as he hugged her.

Octavia hadn't been doing much with the group. Truthfully, she'd been just doing her own thing, hiding out in her own bubble with Lincoln. She had him back here. He was here. He was alive. It had nearly destroyed her to watch him die. To see him be executed in such a cold, senseless manner by Pike. But she couldn't think about that anymore. Not here. Not when she had him. And selfishly, she'd been sticking only to him.

She hadn't really been involved with the others. It was always one drama after another, especially with Murphy. This time, though, it hadn't been his fault. The angels had targeted him. They'd taken his soul. Who the fuck did shit like that? What was up with these angels? The ones she'd read about weren't malicious like these ones were. Constantly doing something to them. Death matches were bad enough, from what she'd heard about and now this. Thankfully she'd managed to be left mostly alone. But that didn't mean that anytime they felt like it, they could and probably would do something to her too. To Lincoln.

But, now, Bellamy was here. Her brother. Yes, he'd been here before, but there had been so much distance between them. Distance Octavia didn't understand, but she didn't push it either. She'd missed her big brother and now he was here. This time, he actually wanted to see her and there was no way in Hell she was turning that down.

Lincoln was gone, so Octavia was the only one home. When she'd seen her brother pop up on the net, not understanding what was going on or where he was, Octavia had known he was just arriving. The other Bellamy must have disappeared. Something else that happened in this place. All too frequently. But she couldn't think about that stuff, she had to cling to the moments she had.

As soon as the knock came to the door, Octavia pulled the door open and smiled widely when she saw her brother. He grabbed up her up in a hug and she did the same, burying her face in his neck. "I missed you too, Bell." She replied. God she'd missed him. She'd thought she'd never see him again after that last conversation. Before the death wave. She could still remember her last words to him, before the radio had gone out. Before Polis had been swallowed by Praimfaya. She was going to repeat those words now, but this time in person.

"I love you too, big brother."

Bellamy didn't know how long he held her like that. It was just really good to see her. It had been too long in his opinion even if it had only been a few days in reality. So much had happened in those few days. Their lives completely changed. Once again. It was just something else they would have to roll with and survive and they would because that was what they did. He and O had been through so much. Ups and downs and they had somehow survived through Pike.

It was still a dark spot though, it was something that Bellamy wouldn't bring up and he doubted that O would either. It was just something they avoided at this point.

He finally let go of her and he smiled. She looked good. Healthy. Bright. It was like looking at someone completely different. LA looked good on her and she looked happy. He swallowed and stepped inside of her place, glancing around. It looked lived in. It was just so ... different. He couldn't even wrap his head around it.

"How did we even get here?" He asked, but it was more rhetorical than anything else. This was definitely like paradise. And yeah - downside was angels and these challenges but everything else ... it just didn't look so bad.

"Sure beats space," he said, turning around to look at her. "I mean, space was alright, but ..." He laughed a little and looked back toward the hallway.

"Is it just you?" He asked.

Octavia had been here a while, so she'd adjusted for the most part. Sometimes she still felt cooped up inside. She'd liked the woods and freedom of the outdoors back home. But she couldn't deny that here definitely had its benefits. There were so many luxuries she'd never experienced before arriving here. She'd spent most of her life living beneath floorboards. Now, she was experiencing more than she could have ever dreamed.

"Space was alright?" Octavia said, arching a brow at her big brother. It was so good to see him. She'd missed him so much. "You won't be saying that after you've been here a few days."

There was so much for him to see. Octavia wanted to show him everything. He'd always been the one to teach her things. Growing up, he'd been the one to read to her, to teach her about all the different figures in mythology and everything in between. He'd been the one to take her to that dance and try to let her experience something, anything outside that room she'd never left for fifteen years.

That hadn't really worked out, though. They'd floated their mother and Octavia had been put in the Sky Box and kept there until they'd hit the Ground.

She was a long, long way from that girl now.

Octavia watched her brother look down the hallway. She knew what, or who, he was looking for. And she knew why. Lincoln's death had been at the hands of Pike, but her brother had been at fault. For a long time, Octavia had blamed him too. She'd hated him for it. He'd taken away the person she loved most in the world. Bellamy had taken away her home.

Part of her would always hold him responsible. But, she'd let that go. She'd found her way back to her brother and pushed all that stuff down. Even before she'd arrived here. Now that she was here and Lincoln was alive? There was no use holding onto that pain, that hurt, that devastation. This was a second chance. Not just for Lincoln, but all of them.

"It's just me, Bell." Octavia assured her brother, guiding him over to the couch. "Lincoln's not home. But he does live here with me." She gave him a look that told him that he was going to have to accept that she was living with her boyfriend and that he was going to have to make amends to Lincoln for what had happened back home. "Look, we have a second chance here. Some of us more than others. Lincoln, Jasper, Finn, Lexa, they're all here. They're all alive. Grounders, Skaikru, none of that matters here, Bell. Just like I was trying to make none of it matter back there. We're all one clan. Wonkru. We're all here together and we're all we've got. You know?"
