WHO: Cassie and Adam WHAT: Reversing the effects of an elixir WHEN: Tuesday afternoon WHERE: Adam's apartment WARNINGS: None anticipated but TBD
Cassie was worried about how things were going lately. When she first learned about the Crystal Skull, she didn't know what to make of it. She couldn't believe that Adam and the rest of the circle, except Diana, kept it a secret from her. She thought she earned everyone's trust, but apparently the Crystal Skull was the one thing that could turn most of them against her. She didn't blame her friends. It was a powerful weapon of destruction and it could easily turn the best people evil. She hoped it wasn't too late to turn it around for Adam since he was exposed to it the longest.
It took some time to research elixirs. It wasn't easy to find the right one. Most the elixirs were meant to make someone fall in love with you, manipulate emotions in various ways but there weren't many to erase the effects of another elixir. It was all very frustrating and Cassie didn't know why she agreed to help Adam with this. Okay, that was a lie. She did know why she agreed to do this but she regretted it after learning that he was keeping secrets. Deep down she knew she couldn't stay mad because she had been keeping from him the fact her feelings for him never went away.
Once it got close to the time she needed to head to Adam's place, she put on a sweater and some sneakers and hoped this would change the way Adam was behaving lately. Diana needed him to be himself again and so did Cassie. She decided against bringing her father's book of shadows with her because she wasn't entirely sure whether or not it was a good idea to tell him that it arrived in Los Angeles for her and Diana. There was a good chance he already knew about it, so what was the point?
She wrote down the spell she needed on a loose piece of notebook paper, gathered all the ingredients she needed in a tote bag and was on her way to his room. A part of Cassie wanted to try out this elixir before giving it to Adam, but who would she give it to? It's not like there were a bunch of people that needed to reverse the effects of previously drunk elixirs and she wasn't in the mood to experiment. She would need to be honest with Adam once she saw him. Cassie took a deep breath and knocked on Adam's door.
