WHO Boone and Jenny
WHAT Teaching her the fine art of murder
WHERE Starting at the apartments then an abandoned warehouse
WHEN Thursday Night
WARNINGS Probable graphic details regarding murder and body disposal
The beginning of December was brutal for Boone. He did a good job of drowning his sorrows with alcohol, but that could only take him so far. He did his best to behave in an appropriate way at work, which consisted of ignoring his feelings, focusing on customers and basically doing any job that required he be as far away from Melissa as possible. It was working out pretty well, but he knew it wasn't going to last long. He was actually eyeing a job at The Varnish but decided against it because Jake was a bouncer there. He didn't need to deal with him or Faye, if she decided to stop by to see her on again, off again beau. However, that line of thinking quickly went out the window when he learned that Melissa found a job elsewhere. He felt so relieved because he actually enjoyed working at his job. It was one of the few comforts he had while staying in Los Angeles.
Regardless, Boone was still in pain and he wanted to focus on what he was good at - killing people. He had let slip to Jenny that he was a serial killer, but didn't discuss the extent of his crimes with her. However, she didn't run away screaming when she learned what he was. On the contrary, she was quite interested in learning more, specifically techniques on ensuring the demise of her enemies. That was definitely something Boone was an expert at. He didn't work all those years with Gigi and Hester on a revenge plan without becoming good at it, well as good as he could get considering they questioned his intelligence every opportunity they had.
This evening Boone found his way to Jenny's apartment. He didn't know if Claire was around, but if she was then it was very clear to Boone she wouldn't approve of their planned activities. This is why Boone planned on taking Jenny to an abandoned warehouse where they could discuss things more discreetly. He had a backpack that held some of his preferred weapons, but obviously they weren't all in this single bag. They didn't make backpacks big enough to fit a chainsaw in and the minute they did, Boone would be the first person in line to buy one and he'd go out of his way to write a fantastic review too.
After knocking on the door, Boone waited patiently for Jenny to answer. He hoped she was home. He didn't doubt her but things weren't going well lately and the last thing he needed was to be stood up.
