Annie let go of Lily's arm as she yanked, the sudden movement making her stumble back. The scowl on her face deepened but her scales melted back into her hand as she stood stock still for a moment- just as the kitchen walls bulged out on either side in front of the cages, coming to meet solid in the middle and blocking them off from Annie, Lily, and Harry all three.
"Wouldn't bother, Harry," Annie muttered, rubbing her arm and catching her breath as the black scales once more began to erupt on her hands, widerning and growing thicker as her hands and only her hands began to grow. "That was very rude indeed."
She exhaled angrily. The smallest puff of smoke came out of her nose.
