Who: Narcissa and Scorpius
What: Collecting the grandson
Where: Town Hall
When: Backdated: Sunday afternoon
As soon as she had begun being tested by her grandson, she had also started cleaning up her area in the library. Yes, finding a cause to these behaviors by the other villagers was important, but her grandson was here. It could wait until she had gotten him settled in. It took far too long to find out his name, but she supposed she couldn't be upset. He was cautious, smart, and it made her smile to herself as she pulled her cloak on over her dress. It was better for her to focus on that for the moment, instead of some of the other things she had seen Scorpius writing. Those could be brought up once she had gotten him more settled. Her mind was swirling as she tried to think of where he was going to live, first and foremost. Most of the cottages were filled up and the choices were rather small. There was really only one viable option that she could think of, and she wasn't thrilled with it, but it better than him living with the Tonkses. By the time she had gotten to the Town Hall, her fingers were itching for a cigarette that was apparently no longer secret, and she took a brief second to collect herself and get her thoughts in order. All of it flew out of her mind once her eyes landed on Scorpius. Oh, he looked just like Draco. There were bits that weren't Malfoy at all, she could spot it easily, but he was so overwhelmingly one of them that the shock showed on her face for a second and her heart clenched with how much she missed her son. Quickly, the expression changed to a more appropriate curious look, watching to see how he would react to seeing her. "Scorpius," she greeted, a small smile appearing on her face. She felt as though she was waiting for an attack or a hug - which was fair from family. One never knew what happened in the future, after all. |
