Her hand trailed down from its link around his shoulders and rested on that blue and red chest. She took a moment to appreciate the grooves of his suit, the dynamicness of it that either had some silly scientific reason or he simply liked the style of it. Her suit wasn't anything like that. Spider-Woman would have felt soft in his arms. Soft, comforting like that thin sweatshirt she always wore when she went running. She liked trying to escape inside of it, pulling up her hood and leaping off tall buildings like she was someone other than that weird Gwen Stacy.
Her fingers trailed along the spider grooves of his suit and she looked up at him, head still pressed to his chest. "Uhm, yeah." She wiped away a few tiny tears. "After I got bit, you wanted to get strong, too. You hated being so weak. So- you made this amazing serum based on reptile DNA. But- it turned you into a monster." She closed her eyes and shook her head so slightly against him. "We fought and you died on accident. I couldn't save you. The messed up part was after you died, you reverted back to your old self, so everyone thought I- Spider-Woman killed you."
