spiders log: rooftop
Gwen was nervous because she sorta-kinda could guess who Spider-Man was. MJ gave it away, didn't she? When she asked if Peter had tried to be a lizard and a spider at the same time, well that implied Petey had been bit by the same spider she had. It wasn't just that though, he gave her a feeling when they chatted. There was something about him that said Peter Parker right before everything went bad. Right before he tried so hard to be "special like her."
Enough about that, though, right? Because it didn't matter who was under that mask, if they were here for bloody vigilante justice? Spider-Woman was not going to allow that. No death. Not now, not ever. If he had a problem with that, she'd happily introduce him to her best right hook. Parker or not.
So, she stood on the rooftop in her white and pink, feeling pretty bad ass. Yeah, okay, she could do this.
From her crouched position on the roof, she turned to look over her shoulder at the red spider. "Wow, nice PJ's." She quipped back and then backflipped into a totally casual stroll towards him. "Nice to meet you web-to-web." She put her hand out. Heroes shook hands, right?
