Darla suddenly seemed frightened by something. Now that what he had said was starting to sink in she realized that he was right. Professor Flitwick didn't always assign exams like that and yet in her vision he did.
A sharp pain suddenly appeared in her temple and she hissed faintly at the painful feeling. Instantly she brought a pale hand to rub at the side of her head, even though she knew it wouldn't work. Nothing could make her headaches go away. All she could do was pretend it wasn't as bad as it was. In all honesty the pain was killing her and she wanted nothing more than to cry, however Darla cared too much about her appearance and making everyone thinking she was healthy.
"I must have hit my head on something," she lied easily as she lowered her hand. "It's feeling better now, but maybe I should go." Quickly she gathered her stuff and slipped it back into her bag.
