There was a part of Lee that chafed at the wording. Our mages. As if they were belongings. Charges. As if they were children, or more accurately, prisoners. Granted it was better being a prisoner outside of the Spire's walls. It allowed her more freedom. Still the wording irked her. She tensed, eyes narrowing and lips twisting almost imperceptibly, in displeasure and then quickly smothered her reaction. It would be nearly unnoticeable unless someone had been watching her.
It was clear though that Ingrid meant well. Her support was well intentioned and generous. As was the support of Ser Urban and Rhone. None of them were required to protect her from whatever was happening within the Spire's walls. In fact Lee thought many Templars would bring her to Val Royeaux's Circle given all of the circumstances.
"You do not need to apologize. As you said, you did not know. It is not your fault." Lee offered Ser Elise a smile, the feeling behind it genuine. The situation that they had all found themselves in was undeniably not the best but the blame could not be entirely laid upon Ser Elise. Most of what was happening now had so little to do with her.
"As for a disguise I will see about acquiring one as soon as we are finished here." She looked at the assembled Templars, face schooled to look as if she was seeking permission, though she would be getting a disguise whether any of the others helped or not. Lee was not getting dragged into a prison if she could help it. "It would be best for all of us if we did not get caught harboring a mage, or being one."
