Kallian fidgeted slightly. "To be honest, it's not really meant for an elf. You don't wear it for chores, that's for certain. A dress like this would be better for a ball or a fancy party or some other event where you'd need to look nice or try to impress someone. Most elves don't even have wedding dresses this nice."
She gently took the dress from him. "Here... Let me show you what it looks like."
Garrett had the curious honor of being the only male Kallian did not feel bodyconscious around. At least, not anymore. The first few times he had cheerfully walked in while she was less than fully dressed had caused her to shriek and blush and hide, but as she had come to realize it meant nothing to him, she had become more at ease with the idea. So, it was with only slight embarrassment that she slipped out of her normal, serviceable clothes and wriggled into the beautiful red dress.
She was still blushing faintly, not quite having reconciled in her mind that it belonged to her. She self-consciously smoothed the full skirts, trying to ignore the less-than-modest display it made of her cleavage. "I'm sure you probably think I look ridiculous in it..."
