Lillie listened to the ideas bantered back and forth within the group. Everyone seemed to agree that something was not quite right with the village, and her weariness had been replaced by a growing sense of unease. Something was very wrong here. It was not the quaint village they had been hoping to find, and there was little chance they'd have a warm room and a bed tonight.
When Einarr spoke Lillie turned to pay attention, wondering over what she ought to do. She was certainly no fighter. Her skills were mostly healing or spells for self defense. At the same time, there could be injured in the village. She looked over towards where the Warden was indicating camp should be set up. It was not very far. The village would still be quite visible from there. Once the village was deemed safe she could go in to treat the wounded. Or if it was unsafe, the injured could be brought to her.
She already heard Pavak volunteering, and it would be silly for both mages to go. She knelt to open her pack instead, passing some phials to him, the faint blue liquid smelled a little of lyrium and would boost his strength if he overtaxed his magic. They were small enough to be tucked into pockets. She found her healing poultices next, and passed five of them to Einarr. They would bolster any injured long enough to get them to her for healing. "Take these... in case."
She looked to Lucressia. She did not know the woman, but she knew that she was somehow acquainted with Matthew. It made Lillie wonder if she was truly simply a merchant traveling along with them. "I will go with Lucressia to the camp." She was warring with herself over what she ought to do. Lillie was not used to fighting battles or the like, and she looked to others to lead her. Still, she was hesitant to walk directly into danger. She could be a liability to others in such a case. She did not expect Matthew to remain with her, though his presence certainly would have made her feel better. As long as someone remained behind to protect the women setting up camp, she would be fine.
She could help pitch the tents and get a fire going, Lillie was confident enough in those skills, though they were secondary to her abilities as a healer. But as a scout or a fighter, she was not much help, and she knew it.
