Amy was used to strange situation. After all, she'd been a pirate, seen her husband be wiped from existence, been hunted down by those creepy stone angels... those were seriously creepy. So arriving in a strange place in practically an instant and have an alien give her some information and a phone wasn't the culture shock it might have been to some people. She just assumed it was a trip with the Doctor gone wrong. She didn't remember being in the TARDIS before she arrived, but that didn't mean anything. Not with the Doctor. Not with a time traveling, galaxy jumping alien. Oh, yeah, she was also used to aliens. She'd actually gone to her assigned room in a place call the B-District, sat down on her bed - well, now it was her bed - and contemplated what to do next before she realized she was being daft and needed to figure things out. Start talking to people. Get a lay of the land... or however that saying went. At least get something to eat because she was starving. She was just hoping that there was something vaguely familiar to eat on this planet. Then she'd start to try finding the Doctor. With any luck, Rory was with him and, if not, they'd find Rory. Even more luck had her discover that she was able to get tea and chips, not a traditional combination, but she wasn't going to complain, in a mess hall in what seemed to be some sort of central hub. Amy figured that this was a good place to start. The more people around, the more people she could ask questions. She finished up her food, tossed the container in the trash, and then took her tea with her for a round of the building. Some of the people looked at her like she was crazy when she asked about a raggedy doctor and a big blue box. Others just seemed unimpressed and just told her to keep looking if it was so important to her. Well. It was. It was so important to her. So she headed to the place in the building with the second most amount of noise: the training area. There were people sparring, people jogging, jumping rope, using those gigantic bouncy balls to... what did they do? Strengthen your core or something? Ugh. But she hesitated in the doorway, giving the room a quick scan, trying to determine who might be the most helpful. |
