Evening of August 28th
Who: George Weasley
Where: His flat
When: The evening of the 28
What: George tries to make contact with the spirit world
With everything that had been happening in the Alley, George was slightly worried. Sure, he was with Katie and all, but he had been unable to communicate with Fred since the barrier went up. He had tried once – a day or two after the Alley closed – but nothing came as a result of that. Which seemed odd, because he had done it numerous times and was able to make contact with him, but now George didn't know what to do. Yet, he wasn't going to give up hope. Now, two weeks following his last attempt, George decided to try again. He waited until the evening so that he would be alone and no one would distract him.
So, cautiously, he pulled out the Ouija board and placed it down on the floor where he usually had conversations with twin and prepared himself for what was going to happen (or so he hoped). Placing his fingers lightly on the planchette, he began moving it around to get it warmed up. After a couple of moments had passed, George decided to ask the Ouija board a question. "Is anyone there?" he inquired of the board. George waited to see if the planchette would move and after a couple of minutes he didn’t have a response. So, he asked the same question again – and he got the same result.
Maybe the Weasley wasn’t doing things properly, he reassured himself as he moved the planchette over to the word 'goodbye,' but then if that was the case – why was he able to contact Fred before? Or maybe his skills were just rusty. George figured that maybe if he went to Mystic Moon on advise for the proper way to read the Ouija board, then maybe the next session would be better and he would be able to make contact with his twin again.
