"A clinic gives us transparency. If we do it out of our homes, there would be all sorts of rumours about some sinister plan to kill someone or other. That, and I do like my privacy. The manor is mine." It was large and full of books and on occasion Theo could get lost in it, requiring Pansy to bring him out again, but that didn't mean that he wanted others to invade his space.
"I wasn't worried, Draco. I'm the entire Nott family. Pansy and I. We have more money that I know what to do with it, more investments that I care to keep track of. This will be something that I want to do, something that require more than just money, but intelligence, research and passion." It was the type of thing he enjoyed.
"We can do it all nice and legal, set up a partnership, equal partners, the two of us," he said. "We can set it up that way regardless of whether he gives you the capital you need. I want us to do this together." Money was not going to be the problem. "I guess now we can have that drink, to celebrate our new partnership." Not that type of partnership he wanted, but the only one he'd get.
