[Cecil]: Murderers. Can they kill your children? [pause] Yes. This has been: Community Safety! Help keep Eerie Harbor safe by not murdering! Remember, killing in offense is illegal on Clio. If you had to do some killing, you should have done it before it was outlawed. Think about that next time. Think about that. The community calendar. Remember, on May 24th, the Halfway House Community will be hosting a Rigatoni Pasta Night. Join in on the community fun for a competitive and filling night of rigatoni tasting, eating, smelling, and feeling. BYOB: That means bring your own bowl. This is a community-friendly night, after all.
The post office in Madeline experienced a small backlog of packages at 9:32 PM on Thursday. This happened because on Wednesday, Darryl's Snickers' bar jammed up one of the mail-sorting conveyer belts at the mainland postal center. The onslaught of delayed packages were just too much for our overwhelmed and underpaid mail workers here on Clio. Shame on you, Darryl from the mainland. Shame. On. You.
And now, we go to our weekly listener-submitted poetry reading. This week's poem is a quatrain by Lu Evans, written in 6/8 time. "Milk. Eggs. Meat sieve. Shovel. Ketchu--" [pause]
