Ter grinned like an idiot at Xanar. "Damn that woman is gorgeous!" he exclaimed as they both walked off. He could smell Taldi as he made his way to the bottom level of the ship where their supplies were located.

He remembered the way well from the last time he'd been there. Ah, if only he could've been with them when they'd taken Taldi on board. Shaking his tresses with a sigh and another grin, he grabbed the canteens after a moment of searching for them and went to fill them with water in the kitchen.

Kaati led Vivvimarra toward her room to gather her light sabers and other gear. She strapped both onto the back of the belt holding her clothing to her body, grabbed the large modified blaster that Luhkai had made for her and attached that at her hip.

She pulled on her thick traveling boots and turned to Vivvi. "You have everything you need? If so, let's get going."

Xanar smirked and took the communicator. "Aye, aye, cap'n." He patted Ter's shoulder. "Thanks. Be back in a jiff." Xanar headed down back to his room and geared up, arming himself to the teeth with guns, knives, and his other deathly accessories. When he was done, he headed toward the entrance. He saw Taldi along the way and motioned to her as he went into the kitchen to see if Ter was done. He winced at the mess of booze. "Oh, yeah."

Vivvimarra followed Kaati in silence, mentally preparing herself for the wash of negative energy that was sure to propel itself at the both of them the moment they stepped outside.

Taldi grinned at Ter and leaned against him for a half moment before she turned to skip from the room. She made quick work of the halls and levels. She changed her pants for one that held more supplies in them and strapped on a wide belt fitted with tools of her trade and favored weapons. He refitted her big, clunky boots, checked herself in the mirror, smoothed her hands over her lekku and went in search of her companions to see if they were ready.

Kaati raised a brow at Xanar with a grin. "Didn't you get the message? All the tiny non-Jedi people go together. I swear, with all three of you together, you make one hell of a force to be reckoned with. At least I won't have to worry about you guys."

She handed Xanar one of the communicators. "Keep this with you. Constant communication about what you see and your positions."

Luhkai shook his head and rolled his eyes with a grin. Oh boy. "According to the readings before the system went on the fritz, it's hotter than hell out there so you should be fine."

"I'll let you know the second the Warper is ready to go. Hopefully you guys will have found this Jedi by then and are heading back by the time that happens."

Kaati nodded. "All right everyone. Let's move. Ten minutes."

She motioned to Vivvimarra to follow her as she walked down the hall to the stairs.

Ter grinned at Taldi and Xanar. "Well, if you guys want to get your gear, I'll grab the canteens and fill them up."

Xanar smiled at Taldi and then looked over at Kaati. "So how are we dividing up? The wider the search, the more chances we got to finding this guy."

Vivvimarra gave Kaati a small smile. "And I shall do the same for you."

The twi'lek had barely arrived and everything was pretty much over with. She'd gathered that they didn't know what went wrong and that now they all had to find out the old-fashioned way.

Taldi stepped forward, draping herself between the nautolan and nagai with her hands perched on their shoulders. She had her buddies all picked out. With a grin she address Lukhai. "How's the atmo out there? Am I under-dressed?"

Kaati worked her jaw. She could feel the pull of the Dark Side. She would've given in many years before if it hadn't been for Wehcca but that was a time in which she was most vulnerable. She was stronger now and so brushed off the creeping feeling along her crimson skin with a shrug. "I'll keep an eye on you," she said with a tight grin.

She turned to Luhkai with a hand on her hip. "I want this thing up in the air asap. I'll keep in constant communication with you on that and if possible or needed, I'll need you and Wehcca to meet with us. Get me two of your locators just to be on the safe side."

Luhkai nodded and began rummaging in a pack behind the pilots seat. He pulled out two small cylindrical objects and handed them to her. "Just click them on when you leave the ship. They have enough power for a month but don't get lost for that long, will ya?" he said with a grin.

Kaati rolled her eyes and then turned to the crew-sans Wehcca who had finally left to see to the outside of the ship. "Everyone go get your gear and be ready to leave the ship in ten minutes. The faster we find this jedi the faster we get the hell out of this suck-pit."

Ter shrugged. "I suppose I'll grab some canteens for water? I already have what I'm taking right on me."

Kaati nodded. "Sounds good. Grab the larger ones. I'm not sure how long we're going to be out there but I don't want to take any chances of not finding drinking water."

Vivvimarra's brow furrowed and nodded. She let her senses delve deeper into the Force. This entire area swelled with the Dark Side. It permeated through the land, water, sky. The pilot was right. Gerrak Shi probably couldn't communicate through the haze, and, worst scenario, he might not be able to survive much longer in it.

Xanar gave Taldi a smirk and nodded. "Come on." He led the way up to the cockpit and got there just as Kaati took Wehcca's arm. He listened silently and then patted Ter's shoulder. "A man after my own heart. Sounds like our pair of jedis are going to need more than just your mitts, Ter. If Luhkai's right, we should probably work the canvas. Whatever is out there that made Luhk's baby crash isn't going to take it any easier on us."

Vivvimarra glance at Xanar and Taldi and Ter and then turned her gaze to Kaati. "Yes. We must be careful. This place reeks of the Dark Side. You and I will be affected by it. It will hone in on us because of our connection to the Force."

"Well, since you're not familiar with the Warper, I'll ignore that "typical malfunction" thing," Luhkai said with a grin. "This baby never has a malfunction, at least not one this big. I'm thinking something out there," he motioned with his thumb over his shoulder to the outside world, "must have somehow interfered with the nav system."

He looked at the group gathering in the hall and shook his head. "At least we're all in one piece." He was glad most of those here weren't as tall as Wehcca or else the room would seem even smaller. "If you guys want, you can go and scout the area while I run the diagnostics on the ship. Wehcca, if you can check the exterior and make sure nothing fell off or got damaged and we should be cool."

Wehcca nodded and began squeezing herself out of the room.

Kaati sighed and grabbed Wehcca's arm before she could leave. "You sure this wasn't intentional?" Her question was directed at the pilot.

Luhkai shook his head. "There was nothing on the scan to indicate that anything was making it malfunction. No power surges or anything fierce like that. I'm thinking that the area itself is what caused it. Can't you guys feel that? I don't have the Force and I know a miasma when I feel it. This place is probably going to interfere with our communication as well so when you take the comms out with you, keep an eye on them and your weapons."

Kaati's brow ridge rose but she let go of Wehcca. "You have a point, it does feel strange around here." She looked at Vivvi. "That could be why your Jedi hasn't really communicated. Maybe he just can't. I think we should check our light sabers before we go out and take some extra weapons just in case."

Ter shrugged. "Well, at least I don't have to worry about my weapons malfunctioning," he said with a chuckle as he raised his webbed hands. "They seem just fine."

Luhkai rolled his eyes.

Taldi's body slunk away from Xanar's when he released her, but her hands found light holds on permanent fixtures in case the ship went loopy again. She drew a long breath and leveled the Nagai a look. Clean up? Not a chance, now wasn't the time.

"Lead the way," she suggested. "I can't wait to find out why this bird's tilting."

Xanar nodded to Taldi immediately after her question. "Yeah. Fine. Though... this place is a mess." He looked over at the liquor that had spilled all over the floor. It was a sad thing. He barely managed to get Taldi out of Ter's way as he rushed into the kitchen. When the rest were gone up to the cockpit, Xanar cursed and released Taldi. "Dammit, this hunk of junk is always under fucking repair," he grumbled. "Want to go see what went wrong now or pick up the mess first?" he asked her.

Vivvimarra glanced only briefly at Taldi and Xanar before following Kaati and Ter up to the cockpit. She didn't interrupt, but listened carefully. When the pilot was done explaining, Vivvimarra tilted her head to the side. "The controls were jammed. Do you think they were tampered with or is it a typical malfunction?"

"I'm not sure," Kaati said as she motioned for Vivvi to follow her. "Luhk would've said something else if that was going on I would think. He'd need someone to man the turret."

She poked her head into the kitchen to see if Xanar and Taldi were okay. Finding that aside from Taldi in Xanars arms, they were good.

Ter almost collided with them leaving the kitchen in his hurry from the stairs but stopped just in time.

"Jeez, what was that? I thought you said your pilot was good," he said with a grimace.

Kaati gave him a look and began to walk to the stairs. "He's the best in the damn galaxy. For this to have happened, something went horribly wrong."

She dashed up the stairs to the third floor and as she approached the room she could feel the shudder of the ship's landing gear coming down.

"It's all right for now," Luhkai's voice came through the open door and it was mimicked on the ships comm.

Kaati walked inside and could see smoke from the right of the cockpit with Wehcca standing over it and a canister of coolant in her furry hands.

"So what the hell happened?" she asked, hands on her hips.

"Well, we're not sure. One minute we're looking around for a place to land, and another minute something started really jamming the controls. I had to override her three times for a response. It was rough there. Wehcca spotted what may be a good place to start looking for the Jedi right before the computer decided to crash but I had to maneuver away from it about two miles in order not to crash into some trees."

He didn't look happy that his ship was injured. "We'll probably have to do some repairs to the outside and I'll have to run a diagnostic on her but aside from that we should be good once that's all done." He looked back to the smoke that was now almost gone and then at Wehcca.

"She'll be fine, Luhkai," the Wookiee growled and rolled her eyes.

The grips on the Twi'lek's boots prevented her from losing her feet when the ship tilted beneath them. Being the agile thief that she was, her fingers reached for handholds on the counter, but Xanar had snatched at her before she got very far. So instead, she velcroed herself against his body to keep from tumbling as the ship continued to lurch and buck. She just hoped that the Nagai wouldn't fall over and take her with him.

"Yeah," she panted, eyes darting away to take in the state of the kitchen, searching for solid anchors in the case that she would need to jump for them. "You?" she asked, looking up at him a moment later.

Vivvimarra hit the ground, but managed a softer landing by letting herself fall when the ship jerked. It probably helped that she had more layers of clothing too. "Did we hit something? Or is something attacking us?" she asked, getting up.

Xanar laughed, but before he could make a smart comment, the ship lurched and Xanar had to scramble to keep himself upright. He held onto the counter and managed to grab Taldi before she fell. "What the HELL, Luhkai!" he shouted as Luhkai came over the comm. Another jerk almost knocked Xanar off his feet. "Rough landing for our pilot? What the hell is going on out there?" He turned to Taldi. "You okay?"

Kaati didn't have a chance to answer as the Warper suddenly lurched forward throwing all those who were not holding onto something to the ground.

She slammed her head and shoulders into the wall and it made her horns hurt. "DAMMIT! What the hell is going on!?" she yelled as she rubbed her head. She stood up shakily and held on as the ship shook.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT!!"Luhkai's voice came on the main com and everyone could hear him. "The ship...[crackle]... down[crackle]... -ng on [crackle]. Rough landing!"

Ter was in mid-jump when the lurch happened and landed awkwardly on his knees. He heard the voice over the com, felt the ship vibrating and rushed out of the room and down the stairs to where Kaati was.

"He still has to ask," she chuckled, then refocused her eyes on him, enjoying the touch--however faint it was. "You're not so rough and tumble as you like to portray, I think. Such a gentleman with me, even when you don't need to be anymore."

Yet there was such appeal in Xanar's persistent treatment of her. It whispered promises that he would treat her unlike most of her former lovers, that he would take care even with a green light. It made her smile broad and her grin transformed into words.

"Oh, yes, Xanar. Let there be no doubt, for the sake of your male brain," she continued with a chuckle. Subtlety was lost on men.

Xanar laughed. "Not my intent. Just surprised is all. And I was trying to be modest." His grin settled into a smile. He traced her face with his fingers, his expression becoming curious. "Do you want to have sex with me, Taldi?" he asked softly.

Vivvimarra looked at Kaati curiously. "Big Momma? What could be interfering with the scanner? Should I perhaps look into it? Is it some of the wildlife, or something else?"

"Well, that sounds good to me," Kaati said with a smile. She put away her lightsabers from whence they came and then sighed. "I wonder what's taking Luhkai so long, it really shouldn't take this long to land somewhere."

She stood and pressed the com button. "Luhk, what the Hutt is taking so long? Usually you're not so damn slow."

Luhkai's voice came back quickly albeit slightly annoyed. "Yea, well it's not easy to find a spot to land. This place is all muck and rotting things. I see a lot of wildlife, a lot of what might be mud and a lot of nothing hard enough or wide enough to land ON. Wehcca is searching but it's slow going. Our scanner is malfunctioning and it ain't the scanner. I think something out here is jamming the signal somewhat. It's taking twice as long as usual to get a clear reading."

Kaati sighed again and pressed the button again after a moment. "Well, keep us posted. From what you can see, how long do you think it will be before we can actually set this tin can down?"

A sound akin to what a Bangaa might make if it was mad sounded over the com. "This...this tin can is doing the best that it can. I'll let you know the second we're going down." He took a breath to calm his voice. "If it comes down to it and it takes more than another hour, I'm going to have to take drastic measures."

Kaati's eyes widened. "You're not talking about..."

"Oh yes I am. Big Momma will just have to come out."

"Stars I hate that thing, it's so loud and obnoxious to put away," she mumbled as she sat back down again and shook her head.

"A missing eye? I hadn't noticed," she grinned with another girlish giggle. She reached up and flitted her fingers along the fringe of his hair. "You sound like you really want me to change my mind--what's a girl to think, hm? Bad in bed, you can't be serious. That's like a neon sign saying: To hell with sex with you."

Xanar grinned. "I like it. I like it a lot, but... I gotta say, I'm surprised." He motioned a hand to his face. "After all, I'm all disfigured, missing an eye, covered in scars, and surly as all hell. And no matter what Kaati says, I am not that good in bed. She just hasn't had a decent lay in years." His grin only got wider.

"True," Vivvimarra said, nodding. "But your ship is equipped to house your crew. You already have one extra, and with Gerrak Shi aboard, perhaps needing special attention and better medical facilities, you will be lacking space. In the end, not just for my benefit, but for his as well, it maybe be prudent to go to Naboo after we have him, wait till he is in prime condition, and then set out to the Academy, or--if the Academy is not possible--out from there after our sith." Vivvimarra smiled.
