"An alien?" Ritsuka replied incredulously. A crazy alien, no less. What he knew of extraterrestrials was limited to anime antagonists and the occasional anal-probe jest. Though Rory claimed the Doctor to be an honourable individual the boy could not help being quite skeptical. Even good people held a bestial brutality deep within themselves. Seimei had seemed pure and soft as snow but proved to be black and hard as obsidian. Did aliens even conform to the human standard of behavior? This was too much! Ritsuka dared not trust these strangers. He scooted a number of centimetres in the opposite direction with tail slightly puffed and poison gathering in the back of his throat. It was a concious effort not to shift to the offensive. The nurse had been kind to him, after all. "And what does everyone do while we wait for the ship to be fixed? Is there any way we can help?"
