George chuckled. "I would not be surprised," he said. "Have you worked any of them out? You will have to show me if you have, I haven't dared to try yet."
He watched her carefully, his mind still running over everything that had happened. Later, when the children were sleeping, he would talk to her about Hallam. Perhaps then he would know how he felt about it all. For now, though, he would just be there for her.
